Day 1: Canada – Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi

Upon arrival meet and transfer to your hotel.

Accommodation: Acoustic Hanoi Hotel or similar

Day 3: Hanoi  (B/L)

Full day tour visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Presidential Palace (façade only), One Pillar pagoda, the Temple of Literature and Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a traditional cyclo ride through Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Glory Legend Cruise or similar) (B/L/D)

Transfer from Hanoi Hotel to Halong Bay (by Junk’s bus) for an overnight cruise. Relax and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Participate on on-board activities. Enjoy visiting grottos, swimming, kayaking, cooking demonstration, and squid fishing.

Day 5: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Hue (B)

Early risers can join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Enjoy breakfast and disembark cruise.  Private transfer to Hanoi Airport for flight to Hue.

Arrive in Hue, transfer to Eldora Hotel Hue or similar.

Day 6: Hue (B/L)

Visit Thanh Toàn tile-roofed bridge, Vọng Cảnh Hill, Hổ Quyền Arena. Stop at a local cafe with a special war items collection. Next, visit Tu Hieu Pagoda which is oldest pagoda in Vietnam. Afternoon visit the former Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market.

Day 7: Hoi An (B)

Relax in the morning. After check out, transfer to Hoi An Rose Mary Boutique Hotel and Spa or similar.

Day 8: Hoi An (Tra Que and Cam Thanh Village) (B/L)

Coach tour or Optional biking along the country roads. Visit an organic vegetable village then join in farmer’s daily activities. You can experience riding a water buffalo and paddling bamboo basket boat in the river. Lunch at Tra Que Village.

Afternoon, take a walking tour in Hoi An featuring Phung Hung Ancient House, Museum of Hoi An, Kwan Kung Temple, Japanese Covered Bridge, Workshops of Traditional Handicrafts and Hoi An Market.

Day 9: Hoi An (B)

Breakfast at Hotel.  Free time at leisure. Optional Red Bridge cooking class half day tour with lunch: CAD70 per person (min 2 pax)

8.15 am  enjoy welcome drink at Hai Café – our meeting point.

Market visit with opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. Onboard the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School.

On arrival, explore the cooking school’s herb garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours. After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked.

Day 10 – 11: Hoi An (B)

Free time.

Day 10: Hoi An – Danang – Canada (B)

Transfer to Airport for flight back HOME
